2024 Sangiovese
Winemaking:
Picked “early” at full ripeness of sugars, but still with high acidity - this Sangiovese was intentionally created to bottle and enjoy early in its life. Destemmed and fermented in small 1.5T vessels. Pressed just before dryness to maintain fresh-fruit characteristics.
Tasting Notes:
Bright and fresh red fruit profile - raspberry, cranberry, tart cherry. Primary and fun! Crunchy tannin, and more abundant red fruit. Fruit-forward, with rustic appeal. Fabulous spring/summer red wine to enjoy with food.
